About the program

The Integrated Protection Division is seeking transitioning military personnel for a 120-day DoD SkillBridge internship. This program is designed to assist transitioning Military service members in adapting their tactical and operational experience to Department of the Army Civilian (DA CIV) security requirements. Working under the guidance of the Chief of Security, the intern will receive practical training in intelligence analysis, Operations Security (OPSEC), and interagency coordination.Disclaimer: This is an unpaid professional development and training opportunity authorized under the DoD SkillBridge program. The service member's military branch continues to provide salary, benefits, and healthcare. Participation does not guarantee post-federal employment.

Jobs this program prepares you for

Specific duties include monitoring Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) channels, drafting and distributing weekly executive threat summaries, and processing routine Requests for Information (RFIs). The intern will apply the 5-step OPSEC process to conduct a digital footprint vulnerability assessment of the organization, review public-facing materials for OPSEC compliance, and recommend countermeasures. Additionally, the intern will act as an administrative point of contact for local, state, and federal law enforcement partners, maintaining interagency contact rosters, drafting meeting agendas and minutes for joint working groups, and updating the program's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
