About the program

SkillBridge participants will participate in cohort-based internships throughout the University of Chicago and University of Chicago Medical Center. They will participate in and conduct research on military transition, barriers affecting access to higher education for veterans and military families, while they themselves build upon necessary skills to successfully access and complete higher education. The SkillBridge Intern, reporting to the Director in the Office for Military-Affiliated Communities, will work to assess, identify and implement strategies and programming for transitioning Service members and their families, as they are entering the University.
