About the program
A Software Developer internship offers military members transitioning from active duty the opportunity to build practical, industry-relevant development skills while translating military experience into a civilian technical career. Participants gain hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining modern applications using web, mobile, and cloud technologies, often in agile, team-based environments. The internship emphasizes problem-solving, disciplined engineering practices, and real-world project delivery, helping service members develop a strong technical portfolio, adapt to commercial development workflows, and prepare for long-term careers in software engineering across government and industry.
