About the program

The State of Nevada Engineering Technician I–III SkillBridge Internship provides transitioning service members with structured, hands-on exposure to technical engineering work in public-sector environments. Participants may gain experience in engineering calculations, construction inspection, surveying, materials and soils testing, computer-aided drafting, technical data collection, project documentation, equipment operation, technical research, and review of plans and specifications. Training progresses from foundational orientation and supervised participation toward increasingly independent technical engineering assignments.
