About the program

This SkillBridge allows a Soldier to become a Viticulture & Winery Operations Trainee for 6 weeks, a total of 30 days to experience a cross-functional internship that gives a hands-on experience to all aspects of winery operations. Trainees have the opportunity to experience each department and work alongside the experienced individuals to understand how commercial wineries operation ranging all the ways from the vineyard to the consumer. This will allow them to understand it from a employee perspective and learn it from an entrepreneurial perspective.

Jobs this program prepares you for

The Viticulture & Winery Operations Trainee is a cross-functional internship designed to provide hands-on experience in all major aspects of winery operations. During the six-week program, participants rotate through each department, including vineyards, wine production, maintenance, retail sales, wholesale and off-site sales, inventory management, marketing, event operations, shipping, and business administration.
