About the program
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation offers dozens of SkillBridge opportunities across a wide array of career fields: Civil Engineering, Project Management/Development, Accounting & Financial Management, HR, Bridge & Highway Maintenance, Contract Management, Asset Management, Mechanical services, IT support, Community Planning, Auditing, and many others. If you are interested in using your military skills and specialties in continuing service to the citizens of New Hampshire, we have a place for you. We will provide you all necessary training and guidance to be highly competitive for a permanent position in New Hampshire state government at the conclusion of your SkillBridge internship.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation SkillBridge program is managed and overseen by veterans and military retirees who currently serve at NHDOT. Our program includes regular counseling and personalized transition guidance as we prepare you for employment at the State of New Hampshire following your SkillBridge internship.
