About the program

Development SkillBridge internship is a fully remote, open to nationwide candidates, 24-week program designed for transitioning service members with a background in technical writing, proposal development, and program management. Participants will receive hands-on training in identifying government contracting opportunities across federal, state, and local procurement platforms — including SAM.gov, PASSPort, Bonfire, eMMA (eMaryland Marketplace Advantage), eVA (Commonwealth of Virginia), NYS Contract Reporter, NYC Department of Education procurement portal, and NJ procurement portals. The candidate will learn to prepare and submit competitive proposals for IT and cybersecurity services. No new cybersecurity technical skills are taught; candidates are expected to already have relevant writing and organizational experience.
