The Project Safety Specialist SkillBridge role provides immersive, field-based training supporting construction, power generation, and/or renewable energy projects. Participants will gain hands on, field-based experience in dynamic jobsite environments, supporting hazard identification, jobsite inspections, safety meetings, and day to day safety execution. Under the mentorship of experienced safety professionals, participants will help promote a strong safety culture through coaching, training, and engagement with project teams and subcontractors, while assisting with the development and maintenance of site-specific safety documentation such as Site Safety Plans, Emergency Response Plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Site Orientation materials. The role also provides exposure to incident management and injury support, including incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, emergency response readiness, severe weather response, permit to work processes, and maintenance of safety metrics and reports.
