Monitors, operates, and controls the Bulk Electric Transmission System. Exercises authority over grid operations to ensure safe and reliable performance. Responds to system conditions and performs activities according to policies and procedures in conformance with Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), Texas Reliability Entity (TRE), North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) operating guidelines.
