About the program

The proposed program is a 90-day (12-week) DoD SkillBridge corporate fellowship hosted by Parsons Corporation. This virtual-office fellowship (based in Georgia) is structured to provide advanced, hands-on career training for the position of Senior Technical Program Manager / Technical Consultant within the Defense Engineering Solutions business segment. Upon acceptance, the candidate is required to possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph, a deep foundational background in military tactical networks, and extensive technical leadership experience. Additionally, robust technical competencies in cybersecurity, systems integration, and data architecture are required. Under the direct guidance of a Principal Tech Consultant and VP of Mission Command & Simulation, the candidate’s learning and integration will be measured against two core milestones: mastering the program/business strategic operational view and successfully navigating the tactical service and deliverable lifecycle from initial requirements through implementation. As an official DoW SkillBridge internship, the program is fully funded by the Department of War, with the candidate continuing to receive active-duty pay and allowances. There are no out-of-pocket expenses for the candidate, as the role is fully remote.
