Farm Manager - Job Training Program

Farm Manager for 100 acre preserved farm with field crops, farm market, and agritourism experience. The primary mission of the farm is to produce/grow vegetables and fruit crops, supplement/purchase from local farmers, and sell agricultural produce and products in the seasonal farm market. The secondary goal is to promote agritourism activities and coordinate special occasion events on the farmland. The candidate must possess a strong desire to work in agriculture, possess mechanical aptitude, organized, motivated, and strong communication skills. The candidate will work 1:1 with operations manager, facilities and grounds manager, and farm market manager.

The role exists to supervise staff, monitor crops and animals, and handle various administrative tasks. Farm Managers prepare budgets, purchase supplies, maintain relationships with vendors and clients, and ensure maximum profitability. The key initiatives are expansion of the farm market and special occasion events. This is a hands-on learning role tailored to develop the individual to take on Farm Manager responsibilities.
