About the program

L5 uses the PREP training program to provide participants with the opportunity to gain critical experience and training from the perspective of a commercial construction supervisor role. The PREP training system allows participants to more effectively demonstrate their professional and personal key performance indicators developed during their military career. So that L5 can more accurately identify their range of skills for the broadest spectrum of occupational specialties in and around the field of commercial construction, as well as measure their capacity for increased work responsibilities. Participants are given the opportunity to work with potential subcontracting, general contracting, and design companies a part of the PREP training schedule. So, they can accrue the critical experience necessary for the most accurate job placement and compensation package. Through L5's use of the PREP training program, each participant is able to establish valuable industry relationships and stand out among peers seeking employment in the competitive, high income earning fields. Jobs this program prepares you for

With the construction industry demand increasing and the number of quality candidates decreasing for supervisory roles, participants completing the PREP program will be exceptional candidates for site superintendent, estimating, and project management roles for subcontracting, general contracting, and architectural construction administration operations. This training program will prepare a participant for jobs that require self-motivated, organized, and disciplined candidates to engage in leadership roles both on-site and off-site by communicating and coordinating between subcontractors, generalcontractors, architectural firms, and project owners to ensure quality control, timeline, and budgets are met.
