About the program

The incumbent performs support functions related to passenger and baggage screening through the use and application of processes, procedures, and techniques.

Jobs this program prepares you for

This position supports TSO functions but is not trained nor sanctioned to perform passenger and/or baggage screening for which certification is required. The incumbent acts under close supervision. The incumbent will carry out progressively more difficult and responsible tasks including, but not limited to serving as queue monitor in advance of the security checkpoint; divesting coach for advising traveling public; assisting in handling luggage for inspection; replenishing security checkpoint supplies; and other job-related duties as assigned. Depending on duty location, shifts may require work of unconventional hours to support local airport operations.

Eligibility & prerequisites

Candidates with security operations, leadership, and teamwork are encouraged to apply. This opportunity is specifically well suited for transitioning service members from Infantry, combat arms, force protection, military police, and other mission-focused career fields seeking to continue serving in a security-focus role.
