About the program

Crowder Construction Company is a self-performance general contractor building large industrial/environmental type projects. We offer an opportunity to work and train through various trades (as work schedule permits on each jobsite) to include carpentry, concrete, pipe, heavy equipment and potentially electrical.

Jobs this program prepares you for

Potential jobs from this training could be carpenter, concrete, pipe layer and electrical helper to journeyman. With the current lack of qualified and trained craft skilled workers, any candidate going through our program should have a very good chance of full-time employment with us or any other local construction company depending on available work. Acceleration to higher pay and higher positions is based on several factors such as time in the seat, learning and work opportunities, employee work ethic, learning ability and leadership, and additional education.

Eligibility & prerequisites

18 years of Age. Able to Pass a Drug Test. Legally Eligible to Work in the US. Additional Requirements for Craftworkers: Must have own transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required). Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools). May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities).
