Fellows will train alongside Covan’s Tactical Analysts and program support staff who enable concept development, experimentation, and defense technology integration in support of the U.S. Department of Defense. This is a training and observation program only. Participants do not perform billable labor or assume direct-charge duties under any government contract. Activities are strictly limited to learning, simulation, and supervised exercises consistent with DoD SkillBridge policy.

Jobs this program prepares you for

A Tactical Analyst at Covan Group supports defense advisory, experimentation, and operational analysis efforts by assisting with data collection, analytical structuring, reporting, and event support activities. Tactical Analysts work in team-based environments alongside program managers, senior analysts, and operational leaders to translate observations, requirements, and operational data into structured insights that inform decision-making.Within the SkillBridge program, the Tactical Analyst role is training-focused only. Participants learn analytical frameworks, reporting standards, and professional practices through observation, guided exercises, simulations, and mentored review of de-identified or mock materials. SkillBridge participants do not perform independent, billable, or customer-facing work.
