As a Commissioning Engineer SkillBridge Intern, you will work alongside experienced Commissioning Managers and Engineers, gaining hands-on experience supporting commissioning activities, learning industry best practices, and developing an understanding of building systems, construction processes, and project execution through direct mentorship and field experience.

Jobs this program prepares you for

Assist with reviewing commissioning plans, testing schedules, and project documentation while coordinating with Operations and Project Management teams to support project schedules, budgets, training, and issue resolution. Participate in pre-commissioning and start-up verifications to help confirm building systems are ready for commissioning activities, and assist with documenting commissioning issues and communicating updates to the appropriate project stakeholders. Support project-specific functional performance testing by observing, documenting, and verifying system performance, while helping identify and document deficiencies in equipment installation or system operation. Assist with preparing building systems for transition to the client following final inspections and completion of commissioning activities.
