About the program

This 24-week SkillBridge program provides transitioning service members with structured, hands-on training in funeral service operations at Chambers Funeral Home. Participants gain experience in decedent care, transportation, funeral service coordination, family support, and professional standards. Through weekly training modules, trainees develop practical skills in embalming assistance, facility operations, safety protocols, documentation, and service excellence. Upon completion, participants are prepared for entry-level roles within funeral service and death-care operations.
