Aflac is proud to support transitioning service members through the DoD SkillBridge Program. Our 12-week professional development experience is designed to help military personnel bridge the gap between military service and a rewarding civilian career.Participants will gain exposure to sales, business development, customer engagement, leadership, and entrepreneurship while receiving mentorship from experienced Aflac professionals. Participation in required training activities, licensing preparation, and development assignments is mandatory during the SkillBridge program and supports participant development and program compliance requirements.Post-Program OpportunitySuccessful completion of the SkillBridge program does not guarantee employment. Individuals who choose to pursue an opportunity with Aflac following military separation may become independent contractor Benefits Advisors. Benefits Advisors are not employees of Aflac and are not subject to set working hours or required to work from a specific office location. Benefits Advisors generally determine their own schedules and methods of conducting business, subject to applicable contractual and regulatory requirements.Compensation DisclaimerThe salary range displayed in this job profile is based on publicly available compensation data for insurance sales agents from ONET Online (www.onetonline.org) and is provided for informational purposes only. The Benefits Advisor position is an independent contractor (1099) role compensated primarily through commissions and bonuses.
