## Summary

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, is seeking an application for the position of Electrician.

## Job description

Under limited supervision, the candidate will perform repairs and preventative maintenance to campus electrical distribution systems, lighting distribution systems and fixtures, motors and related equipment; installs and maintains commercial and residential electrical circuits during new work and renovations; assists shop personnel in installation, setup, and maintenance to campus portable sound and public address systems, including electronic message centers; performs troubleshooting, minor repair, and preventative maintenance of campus fire alarms and security systems; experience with generator and switch gear, continues education on N.E.C. State and local building and electrical codes. Attends safety meetings and participates in full compliance with OSHA electrical safety requirements; among other duties.
