## Job description

This is a research- and analysis-heavy, behind-the-scenes role — the Specialist does not represent MKD externally or engage clients directly. Core responsibilities include helping to build out CRM pipeline data structure and taxonomy; refining government and commercial Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) using real market data; tracking federal opportunities across agencies and acquisition vehicles; monitoring the commercial defense technology ecosystem; mapping the competitive landscape; supporting pre-RFP capture and opportunity shaping; building event and relationship intelligence; and producing periodic intelligence briefings that inform executive decision-making. The role culminates in the delivery of a standing intelligence Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and a business case evaluating investment in paid intelligence platforms.
