## Summary

Jasper County Fire and Emergency Services is looking for personnel who are interested in a Firefighting Career along with becoming certified as an EMT. Personnel will either be trained in house or at an 8-week recruit school type course to learn basic firefighting skills and receive an additional 8 weeks of training in the emergency medical field. When not in school, personnel will be assigned to one of three rotating shifts.

## Job description

Candidate shall respond to all calls for emergencies for an All-Hazards department. These types of calls will be EMS, Hazardous Materials, Fires, Public Assistance, Aircraft Incidents, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and other technical rescues. Candidate will work on shifts.
