## Summary

Empire Power LLC is a California-licensed electrical contractor offering transitioning military service members a 16-week, hands-on SkillBridge training program in commercial electrical and industrial systems.Participants gain practical exposure to electrical installations, industrial ventilation and HVLS fan systems, electrical distribution, troubleshooting, safety procedures, and modern electrical technologies.Training combines structured instruction, demonstrations, and supervised field experience alongside experienced electrical professionals. Based in Norco, California, participants may gain experience at commercial and industrial project sites throughout Southern California.Our goal is to help transitioning service members translate military experience into valuable civilian trade skills and prepare for potential employment in the electrical industry.

## Job description

**Position: Electrical & Industrial Systems Technician – SkillBridge Intern**Empire Power is seeking motivated transitioning military service members interested in developing a career in the electrical and industrial construction industry.During this 16-week training program, participants will receive structured instruction and supervised practical experience in:- Commercial and industrial electrical installation methods- Electrical conduit, wiring, and equipment installation- Industrial HVLS fan systems and associated controls- Electrical distribution, smart panels, and energy technologies- Electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning- Reading electrical drawings and installation specifications- OSHA safety practices, PPE, and jobsite hazard identification- Equipment operation, material handling, and project coordination- Professional communication, teamwork, and customer serviceParticipants will work alongside experienced field personnel and receive progressively more advanced training based on demonstrated competency.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Active-duty service member eligible for SkillBridge participation- Interest in electrical construction or industrial technology- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn- Ability to work safely in commercial and industrial environments- Valid driver's license preferredPrior electrical experience is not required. Electrical work will be performed only when permitted under applicable California registration, certification, and supervision requirements.Successful participants may be considered for employment opportunities with Empire Power following military separation, based on performance, qualifications, and available positions. Employment is not guaranteed.
