## Summary

Instrument Technicians ensure surgical instruments and equipment are available for patient use. They do this by following industry standards and instructions for use (IFU's) to properly decontaminate, clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, package, sterilize, store, and distribute to clinicians for patient use.
