## Summary

This SkillBridge Apprenticeship is designed to help transitioning service members bridge their Military Aircraft Maintenance experience with the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Title 14CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) Part 145 requirements. The program requires the applicant to complete On-The-Job Training (OJT) to prepare for FAA testing and certification. If an A&P is not obtained within the apprenticeship timeline, our proven Troops-to-Technicians Program will be offered to guide the new employee through the remainder of the certification process.

## Job description

AMT apprentices support heavy maintenance operations on Boeing 737, Boeing 757, Boeing 767, and Airbus A320 Family aircraft. Under licensed supervision, apprentices perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections in alignment with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals, customer requirements, and FAA regulations. All training and OJT hours will be logged and utilized toward eligibility for the FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification exams.
